Dedicated to the memory of Frances Reed
This site is a tribute to Frances Reed. She is much loved and will always be remembered.
Frances was born in Texas in 1942 and died at home on 21 March 2018 after a brave fight against mesothelioma. She is survived by her husband Don, their twin children Greg and Brenda with their spouses Andrea and Paul, grandchildren Patrick, Anna and Louisa, and her younger siblings Jay and Judy.
After retiring from her accountancy career Frances was able to spend more time painting and was an active member of the Fleet Art Society. Frances was also a dedicated gardener.
She will be most remembered for her friendliness, laughter, creativity and kindness.
The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice enabled Frances to remain at home in the final stages of her illness, which is what she wanted.
